Arsenal u-15s do what club legends couldn’t – but were they lucky?

Monkey see, monkey do. It’s the principle behind almost every internet trend. After all, we’re all staring at the same sorts of screens, the same content and the same websites. We have started to find all the same things funny. Virals are, after all, viral. They infect us all.Less than a week after Messi and Suarez pulled off the most creative / disrespectful / entertaining (delete as appropriate) penalty we have seen in quite some time, it’s no surprise that it’s been attempted again. This time by Arsenal’s U-15 side:

Entertaining? Sure. Creative? Monkey see, monkey do, but let’s at least give them some credit for doing what club legends Thierry Henry and Robert Pires couldn’t do.

But there’s a bigger issue at stake – as a goalkeeper or a defender, how can you not think your opponents are going to do that? In the week that pass-penalties have had more press-coverage than most celebrities, how can you not be alert to the fact that this might actually be coming?

This Arsenal penalty isn’t particularly well executed – the point is to make the goalkeeper dive before you pass it to a teammate who has the whole of the goal to aim at and no keeper left to save it. But the goalkeeper facing Arsenal isn’t fooled by the original penalty-taker, he doesn’t dive. And so why isn’t he running out to close down the angle?

The video has gone viral because they managed to score it, but imagine how bad it would have been for Arsenal had they missed it? Imagine if that goalkeeper had done his job and closed down the angle – it was ripe for saving!

None of the defenders seem to care, they don’t close the ball down or attempt to stop it. It’s an under-15 game, so of course any criticism has to be prefixed with an admission that these are merely kids, so you can’t be too harsh. But that’s exactly the problem. However harsh it seems to criticise them for scoring the penalty, imagine the internet’s reaction if they’d missed it! They’re lucky, really.

Monkey see, monkey do. But for their sake, I’m relieved they scored!

3 Things we learned – Man United can still do it while Liverpool and West Ham stars won’t give up on England

An evening packed full of Premier League action, as ever, didn’t fail to disappoint as Liverpool, Manchester United and West Ham continued their decent enough runs of form.

The Reds particularly impressed this evening by mauling their miserable Mersey rivals Everton 4-0 in preparation for their Europa League clash with Villarreal on the near horizon.

As awful a season it was been for Louis van Gaal over at Old Trafford, a fairly routine win over Crystal Palace put them to within a single point of the top four as they gear up for an FA Cup semi-final with the Toffees.

On tonight’s evidence, they have little to fear.

Elsewhere, West Ham stopped their run of four consecutive draws by recording a 3-1 win over Watford to continue what has been a remarkable season under Slaven Bilic.

The top four may be just out of reach for the Hammers, though the future is brighter than ever as the Upton Park era draws to a close.

So, what else did we learn from tonight’s action?

Well, here’s three things in particular.

Sturridge Up for the Fight

Much has been made of the fact Daniel Sturridge has lost his place in the starting lineup under Jurgen Klopp.

The England international started on the bench and was only introduced when teammate Divock Origi was forced off with an ankle injury.

However, for a man who has spent so much time on the sidelines, he certainly looked up for the fight.

He was excellent when he came on, scoring once after an exceptional first touch which he made look routine.

All evening after his introduction, the 26-year old looked sharp and dangerous.

He will not meekly surrender his mantle as England’s best centre-forward despite the emergence of Harry Kane it seems.

Man United can still finish in the top four

Amazing really that Manchester United have kept the pace in the race for the Champions League.

It’s been a nightmare season, though they are grinding out results without particularly playing well in the slightest.

Their win over Crystal Palace was barely much to shout about, but with Arsenal seemingly crumbling, Louis van Gaal can still somehow land entry to the continent’s top competition.

The return of Wayne Rooney is a welcome, giving the Red Devils once of the most varied attacks in the league when paired with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Carroll will push all the way

We’ve waxed lyrical about the majestic ability of Daniel Sturridge that appears to come to him with such ease.

However, Andy Carroll is another forward who will not give up on the Euro 2016 dream.

The towering striker now has five goals in his last three games and is truly emerging as a viable option for the Three Lions if they wish to draft something different into their squad.

A well taken finish to control dipping a ball proved the ex-Liverpool is not just a heading merchant and can ever differ his game up.

Denílson signs a new deal…as brand ambassador for 888 Poker

In 2002, Denílson de Oliveira Araújo stood shoulder-to-shoulder with his teammates on the Brazilian football team and stormed to victory, robbing Germany of joy with a 2-0 score. Now, the iconic footballer, who was once the most expensive player on the planet, is joining forces with 888 Poker to become the brand ambassador and celebrity face of online poker for millions of new and current players worldwide. Denílson is very excited about this new phase in his career, stating:

“All my friends started to play poker, and so I got more and more interested in the game. Many of the qualities you need to be a successful footballer can help you improve your poker game. 888 Poker is one of the biggest and best poker platforms in the world, so I am very proud to become an 888 Poker ambassador. I hope it will help develop my own poker skills as well as encourage new players to get involved in this exciting game.”

On the pitch, Denílson, who played as a left winger, was known for his exceptional dribbling skills and creative approach to ball control. Like many of his Brazilian teammates, the star footballer was born in São Paulo and made his professional debut while still a teenager, first pulling on his boots for São Paulo FC aged just 17. This game kicked off a glittering career that saw Denílson involved in a few high stake moves. In 1998, for example, the gifted sportsman made the move from São Paulo FC to Real Betis for the price tag of $32 million. After retiring from football, Denílson retained his high-profile with football fans in Brazil and beyond as a much-respected sports commentator.

Denílson brings a number of fantastic attributes to the role of brand ambassador for 888 Poker. As well as being someone with the tactical approach and insight all top league professional footballers must have, over a long and impressive career he has won trophies including the Brazilian league, Copa America and Copa del Rey in Spain. The team at 888 Poker are looking forward to welcoming their new member on board. Denílson will be taking his place alongside Bruno Foster, Bruno Kawauti and Nicolau Villa-Lobos. However, he will be the very first team member never to have previously played professional, creating a challenge this competitive man is bound to rise to with determination.

Itai Pazner is the Senior Vice President and the Head of B2C at 888 Holdings. Speaking on behalf of everyone at 888 Poker, he said:

“Denílson played football with skill, enthusiasm and energy, bringing happiness to millions. We’re delighted to have signed him up as an ambassador, because we want poker players to approach the game in a similar way. It is a game of skill, it takes practice and intelligence, but we also want our players to have fun and enjoy themselves along the way.”

As Denílson limbers up for his exciting new role, picks up his chips and prepares to make his first forays into professional poker, it’s likely that a lifetime of thinking strategically, acting with discipline and psyching out opponents will serve him well on the 888 Poker team.

Celtic star makes history with earth-shattering record

Its 2016. It is now feasible that players born in the year 2000 can be scoring goals in professional football.

However, football fans are not ready to cope with this just yet. Jack Aitchison has netted for Celtic in an end of season goal bonanza and it has shaken the world of football. Aitchison was born in March 2000. Yes, the year 2000. Tony Blair had already been Prime Minister for three years and David Beckham was nearly 25.

This is earth-shattering, this is changing the way we look at the age of young players. We all once dreamed of playing the professional game ourselves and this is one of those moments where you realise just how depressingly old we all are now.

People just aren’t prepared for such a moment. We thought the astonishing Leicester title win, Aston Villa being relegated and Barcelona not winning the Champions League made this enough of a freak season, apparently not. Fans around the world were hoping the season could quietly fizzle out and we could enjoy the summer, but this has leapt upon us like no one could have imagined.

What were you doing at 16? I was still getting excited about scoring on FIFA, let alone doing it for a massive club like Celtic. Poor Jack Aitchison will have to go for a meal with his parents so that he can have a quick pint of Strongbow to celebrate, poor lad.

Not one for the purist football fan, this.

The number 99, is the one I would’ve picked when I was younger, too.

Fair play to the lad, he’s an icon at the age of 16. Congrats to Celtic for producing another superb youngster and we can just hope that this isn’t the last big goal for Aitchison.

Arsenal or Chelsea star to snatch Euro award?

While everyone likes to predict who will come away with the Golden Boot in each major international tournament, it’s also worth wondering who will finish with the most assists.

In the 2012 rendition of the Euros, four players shared that distinction, each with three helpers. Mesut Ozil was one of them, and the German attacking midfielder serves a good opportunity to do it again behind powerhouse Germany.

So who could be the leading man in the 2016 Euros?

The Premier League holds a cast of superb candidates to pull off the feat, along with one player who isn’t yet in England’s top flight, but may be in the near future due to Jose Mourinho’s efforts.

Paul Pogba is arguably the best centre midfielder in football today. The Frenchman has 14/1 odds to finish atop the assist table as he leads the host nation. The former Man U youth star moved to Juventus in 2012 and flourished. He had eight goals and 13 assists in 35 appearances this past season in Serie A contests.

Mourinho has expressed interest in bringing the 23 year-old back to Old Trafford, but understandably he’s not the only possible suitor. Pogba is interested in Real Madrid, and they are planning to offer €120m in order to secure his services, and word is he is leaning towards the Spanish side.

Pogba heads a Didier Deschamps squad that is loaded with firepower and has the advantage of playing host to the tournament. With Antoine Griezmann, Oliver Giroud, and Dimitri Payet, there should be ample opportunities for Pogba to rack up the assists as France are poised to go deep in the tournament.

There are a handful of current Premier League squads that have a good chance to finish atop the top assists table. Ozil, with 9/1 odds, is an integral piece of Germany’s swift attack. The Arsenal man will be able to work with an assortment of talent midfielders, and feed Thomas Muller as well for a nation that is expected to stick around for the duration of the tournament. Ozil, registered his first assist on Schweinsteiger’s goal in Germany’s 2-0 victory over Ukraine.

With a talented cast in the midfield and Juventus striker Álvaro Morata up front, Cesc Fàbregas can help make some noise for Spain. With 16/1 odds, it is favourable that the Chelsea presence could accumulate some assists while Spain, who already cruised to a 1-0 victory over the Czech Republic, performs well.

Propelling Manchester City with nine assists in Premier League play, Kevin de Bruyne, 20/1 odds, serves a good shot to help distribute on a Belgium squad that has entered the tournament with heightened expectations. Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas, along with Michy Batshuayl the young star employed by Marseille.

Since dropping down into a deeper midfield role, Wayne Rooney has improved, being able to utilize his passing more. With Vardy and Kane in front of him, his distributing becomes a valuable asset for the Three Lions. Rooney has failed to make a significant impact internationally for England and the captain has no better opportunity than now. The Man U man has a talented cast up front and the expectations back home are high.

Three players that could follow Jonas Hector to Liverpool this summer

With every passing moment, Liverpool fans are getting more and more nervous that their team might have to start the 2016/17 season with Alberto Moreno as their first choice left back.

The Spanish full back has a disastrous season last year, looking poor defensively and suffering a number of crucial mistakes that lead to conceded goals and demoralising defeats.

The usually-supportive Liverpool faithful appear to have lost their patience with the Spanish defender, with many DEMANDING that Jurgen Klopp find the new side a new left back.

Well, it looks like their prayers have been answered; with numerous reports, including this one by The mirror, suggesting that the club are set to bid for Germany defender Jonas Hector.  And so Liverpool fans can breath once again…

Even more good news for Liverpool fans; he might not be the only man on his way to Anfield over the coming weeks. The club continue to be linked with a host of stars, and as we near the start of the Premier League season many of the deals appear to be coming into clear view.

So here are THREE players that could follow Jonas Hector to Liverpool…

Mattia De Sciglio

One target that Liverpool are reportedly after is another full back; AC Milan star Mattia De Sciglio.

Crucially, De Sciglio is able to play on either side of the Liverpool defence; which would go a long way as to suggest why the club are seemingly chasing both Hector and De Sciglio at the same time.

Offering Italian defensive prowess, De Sciglio impressed in Serie A Last season.

According to The Independent, Liverpool have bid for the young defender, with Klopp seemingly keen to wrap up deals for both defenders shortly.

Though it does make little sense in the narrative of the deal for Hector; it seems that both deals are definitely on the table.

Joao Mario

Joao Mario was a standout performer at this summer’s European Championship, and he has as a result attracted interest from across Europe.

Chelsea were thought to be the front runners for the midfielder’s signature, but it appears that Liverpool also retain interest in him.

The club reportedly bid between £30m and £40m for the talented player, and whilst there has been no confirmation of the deal; the interest is definitely concrete.

Keep an eye on this one.

Lucas Moura

The rumour that just won’t go away.

Lucas Moura to Liverpool is a transfer that a few months ago seemed unlikely, but all signs are pointing towards the side having legitimate interest in the Brazilian star.

Moura has typically failed to hold down a regular starting spot with PSG over the last few years, and with rumours suggesting that he is keen to try his hand at the Premier League; Liverpool could be a perfect fit.

He was recently described by Sky Sports as the clubs most likely transfer, and given that the rumours have persisted for months; could this deal actually happen?

Country to what common sense would suggest; it definitely has weight!

PSG’s early blips could be just what they need for European success

Last season, PSG won the title with 31 points to spare, their nearest challengers were closer to the relegation zone than they were to mounting a serious title challenge.

The Parisians lost only two Ligue 1 games last season. They won every domestic trophy, became only the second club in Champions League history (after Chelsea) to finish second in their group despite conceding only one goal, and ultimately failed at the quarter-final stage. That failure cost Laurent Blanc his job.

It looks like that’s the bar set for Unai Emery by his predecessor. In fact, the demands look even greater than that: Blanc set the bar that high whilst simultaneously convincing everyone that he is to football tactics what Marseille were to football last season. Disastrous.

Emery’s bar is actually set for European conquest, not domestic consolidation.

The problem is, if PSG do not win everything in France, that won’t just be a disappointment, that will be a shocking humiliation. But after the first month or so of the campaign, the Parisians aren’t the all-conquering force they were last season. Not yet, anyway.

Last week’s draw at home to Arsenal in the Champions League was preceded by a draw at home to St Etienne and a defeat away to Monaco. Normally, a draw at home to Arsenal would be no big deal, perhaps even a good result. After all, it’s the first game of the campaign. Win the rest and PSG will win the group.

But the performance showed an absence of ruthlessness that wasn’t present in PSG last season. Edinson Cavani missed enough chances to win four games, whilst the team lost its way after half-time. Then again he scored enough goals to win four games last weekend away to Caen. Before being taken off at half-time.

Perhaps losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his 113 goals in 122 Ligue 1 games is a hole a can of Polyfilla won’t cover. Perhaps losing their focal point and talisman won’t automatically turn PSG into more of a ‘team’. And perhaps losing Blanc’s simple yet effective principle of telling world-class players to go and play world-class football was more important than first thought.

Whatever the underlying reason, there definitely was a lack of confidence over the first few weeks of the season. Something they weren’t lacking last term.

But is that something that should give Ligue 1 clubs hope? Overconfidence may have been one of the reasons PSG failed so miserably against Manchester City. The confidence to go out and thump every French team standing meekly in their way might also have been a factor: just like the criticisms of Bayern Munich and Juventus in recent seasons, PSG have perhaps been too far ahead in the league to go into the spring section of the Champions League feeling any kind of tension. It’s tension that keeps you going.

It looks like they might have that this year. Monaco may be chasing what was a 31 point gap last season, but despite a heavy defeat to Mario Balotelli’s Nice, they’re already ahead of the little ‘Mario Kart’ ghost this season.

Take last season’s Bundesliga as an example. Bayern Munich won the league by ten points, but it never seemed as comfortable as it did in the other Pep Guardiola years, nor was it as comfortable as PSG’s victory last year.

Post winter-break, Borussia Dortmund matched Bayern’s results – for the most part – week after week. It was only a late mini-collapse that prevented them from pushing Bayern harder. They lost in Europe to Liverpool in emotional circumstances; drew with bitter rivals Schalke and then in the final two weeks of the season; they lost to Frankfurt, and then drew with Cologne.

If it weren’t for that, they’d have ended the season one win away from the title.

That’s the sort of damage Monaco can do this year. It won’t happen, of course: PSG are the sort of dominant force Ligue 1 has never really seen before, not even the seven-in-a-row Lyon team of the early 2000s had this much dominance, certainly not in terms of star quality. But it’s possible that last season made everyone think that PSG are more dominant than they actually are.

They aren’t 31 points better than Monaco. They can’t be. They only play Monaco twice a season. Last season was a perfect storm. PSG’s consistency and stability – they had the same manager and the same team, just with the addition of a world-class player in Angel di Maria – coupled with the instability of the teams around them gave them an unholy margin of victory.

Last summer, Monaco had to sell big players and replace them with young and promising talents. This year, they’ve been able to keep their best players whilst adding Benjamin Mendy, Djibril Sidibe and Kamil Glik to strengthen their defence. That stability could make all the difference. As could hitting form early. They’ve had to hit the ground running this season because they had to peak in August to qualify for the Champions League group stages.

If last season was a perfect storm of brilliance from PSG and disorganisation from the rest of the league, this season might be the perfect storm in the other direction.

If Monaco win the league it really will be because of the stars aligning. They probably don’t have the squad to fight on every front, and they certainly don’t have a squad to match PSG’s. But what they can do, if they have a fabulous season, is dominate the smaller teams in a similar way to PSG. They can be a mini-PSG, built from young players playing with confidence and have the likes of Radamel Falcao chipping in with 15 goals.

In the same way that Borussia Dortmund were the mini-Bayern last year. And amidst their faltering form at the start of the season, and their current transition with a new manager and players, a title fight might just be the best thing that could happen to the champions.

It was a freak storm last year that saw PSG blow everyone away on their march to the title, but the equal and opposite storm could be one reason that Unai Emery succeeds where Laurent Blanc failed. A little bit of Ligue 1 tension could really help PSG’s springtime assault on the Champions League.

Man City star certainly lost something against Man United today

Manchester City may have claimed all three points at Old Trafford this afternoon but one of their stars certainly lost something against Manchester United.

Indeed, left-back Aleksandar Kolarov, who played the full ninety minutes, came away from the 2-1 win with one tooth less than he started it with.

WANT MORE? >> Man City News | Man United News

Team-mate Willy Caballero, who unlike the Serbian international was benched for the United clash, sent out the below photo of a gap-toothed Kolarov on his Instagram account after the final whistle:

Amazing game 2-1 against United at Old Trafford #cmoncity in this picture with one of my warriors. Look’s painful, but Kolarov doesn’t seem to mind too much.

And why should he? Three points from the Manchester Derby could be massive come the end of the season and the defender produced a solid display this afternoon, recording three interceptions, seven clearances and one successful dribble.

In a hugely entertaining Manchester Derby, City took the lead with early goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho.

United hit back just after half-time through Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but couldn’t find that all-important equaliser.

The Arsenal XI to beat Reading

Arsenal are back in EFL Cup action in midweek after being held to a goalless draw by lowly Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Saturday.

In a game of few chances, Arsene Wenger will be glad to turn his back on the league after a frustrating afternoon against Boro, who were more than worth their point on the final whistle.

And standing in Arsenal’s way in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening are Championship outfit Reading, who have enjoyed a decent start to the season themselves.

Under Jaap Stam, the Royals will be hoping to push for the play-offs come the end of the season. But Tuesday’s game against the Gunners might just be too much for the second division side.

We’re tipping Arsenal to do the business against the underdogs and despite a bounty of changes, this rotated Gunners XI should have more than enough quality to sweep aside the Championship outfit.

Arsenal academy graduate Emiliano Martinez has had to be extremely patient in his hunt for first-team minutes.

Now 24, he’s still only appeared nine times for the Gunners first-team, with most of his time being spent out on loan in the lower divisions. Tuesday night is a great chance for him to impress and potentially force the understudy berth from David Ospina.

RB: Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Another academy graduate who could feature is Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who very much impressed in Arsenal’s third-round win over Nottingham Forest.

The Gunners overcame Forest 4-0 and Maitland-Niles was praised for his performance on the right-hand side, which could see him rewarded with another start on Tuesday evening.

CB: Gabriel

Brazilian defender Gabriel has been criticised for some of his performances since his move to the club back in 2015 and he’s struggling for first-team minutes, especially after the addition of Shkodran Mustafi during the summer.

But Tuesday night gives him the chance to play against a lesser outfit in Reading, which could be a massive confidence booster for the Brazilian defender.

CB: Rob Holding

A surprise to some Arsenal fans this summer was that young defender Rob Holding didn’t go out on loan to pick up some more first-team experience after his move from Bolton Wanderers.

We haven’t seen much from Holding since Arsenal’s defeat to Liverpool at the start of the season but this game provides him with the chance to pick up some more experience on the big stage.

LB: Kieran Gibbs

Kieran Gibbs is battling quite the war with Nacho Monreal for the first-choice left-back berth but the Spaniard is slightly edging ahead.

However, a good performance and a comprehensive win over Championship outfit Reading could be the perfect route back into the first-team for Gibbs.

CDM: Francis Coquelin

Coquelin didn’t have his strongest of afternoons against Middlesbrough but we’re tipping him to put things right in the game against Reading on Tuesday evening.

He’s a combative central midfielder who does anything to disrupt the rhythm of the opposition. If he’s on form, Reading will struggle to break through.

CDM: Mohamed Elneny

Mohamed Elneny will relish the chance to get some first-team action on Tuesday evening, having struggled to escape the role of squad player since joining the Gunners from FC Basel.

Despite not featuring as much as he might have liked, he’s a quality individual and should have too much for the second division side.

RM: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The Ox is slowly but surely coming back into the Arsenal first-team fold and we think Wenger will keep him in the side for the game against Reading.

When he’s in form, Chamberlain is a match for any top flight defender – so in theory, Reading should struggle to keep up with the England international.

CAM: Jeff Reine-Adelaide

Another exciting player coming through the Arsenal ranks is Jeff Reine-Adelaide, who played 83 minutes in the third round win over Nottingham Forest.

He’s a skillful, pacy attacking midfielder who will be desperate to be given the nod to ensure his name is still on Arsene Wenger’s radar going forward.

LM: Lucas Perez

Lucas Perez is settling into life with the Gunners and there are definite signs suggesting he’s only going to get better with time.

The Spaniard is a pacy forward player who can play wide or through the middle but against Reading, we’d like to see him running at right-back Chris Gunter. Another strong performance could be a real stepping stone for the former Deportivo man.

ST: Chuba Akpom

Chuba Akpom made his senior breakthrough whilst on loan at Hull City last season and you get the impression the youngster hasn’t got an awful lot of time left to impress the Arsenal coaches.

He needs to start showing why he could be the man to lead the line in future years or he will be moved on. A strong showing against Reading will do his reputation no harm.

Bilic plotting January clear-out

According to reports from The Sun, Slaven Bilic is preparing a clear-out for the January transfer window – as West Ham face the prospect of an unwelcome relegation battle.

What’s the word?

Safe to say, the move to the London Stadium hasn’t panned out as envisaged. It was meant to usher in a new era at West Ham, especially after the dizzying heights of last season, but the Irons were eliminated from the Europa League at the hands of Astra Giurgiu and are now just a point above the relegation zone in the Premier League.

And the pressure on the Hammers is unlikely to relent anytime soon; they’re facing a dreaded run of fixtures in the Premier League, starting with a difficult trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and followed by meetings with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Accordingly, it seems inevitable West Ham will slip into the relegation zone at some point over the next few weeks, even if it’s only temporarily, but The Sun claim Slaven Bilic is already planning to arrest his side’s stuttered start to the campaign with a January clear-out.

Who’s on the chopping block?

The majority of the article centres around Bilic’s intentions to axe summer addition Alvaro Arbeloa, who was signed as a free agent on deadline day after leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season. The Spain international offers World Cup and Champions League-winning pedigree and is still just 33 years of age, but that talent hasn’t exactly shone through in east London, with Arbeloa’s only Premier League start of the season coming in a 3-0 home defeat to Southampton.

It speaks volumes that the former Liverpool man’s barely featured despite the Hammers lacking a first-choice right-back, and even when he has, he’s been asked to fill in on the opposite side of defence. The Sun quote an anonymous insider as saying; “It’s true that Arbeloa would be allowed to move on, if a club comes in for him.”

Anyone else?

With significantly less evidence or detail, The Sun claim West Ham are also hoping to dump loaned-in duo Simone Zaza and Gokhan Tore in January – although hinting the Hammers may face a few stumbling blocks due to the agreements they made to sign both players during the summer.

Such news probably won’t come as a surprise to Irons supporters. Tore has been woefully short of the required standard, managing just three starts in the Premier League, whilst Zaza has already proved he’s not the answer to the club’s striker problems – still yet to find the net for his adoptive side. Copious sources have claimed West Ham are determined to cut his loan deal short rather than trigger a £20million permanent move clause, including ESPN.
