وجه فيرجيل فان دايك مدافع ليفربول رسالة مهمة إلى جماهير النادي الإنجليزي، بعد تعادل اليوم مع فريق مانشستر سيتي في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

وتلاقى الفريقان في إطار منافسات الجولة الثانية والثلاثين من الدوري الإنجليزي، على ملعب الاتحاد، حيث تعادلا بهدفين لمثليهما. أهداف مباراة ليفربول ومانشستر سيتي

ويحتل ليفربول حاليًا المركز الثاني برصيد 73 نقطة في المركز الثاني، بفارق نقطة واحدة عن مانشستر سيتي صاحب المركز الأول برصيد 74 نقطة.

وجه الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “كاف”، تهديدًا لنادي الرجاء المغربي، قبل مباراته المرتقبة أمام الأهلي في منافسات دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

وأسفرت قرعة دور ربع نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا التي أجريت في القاهرة 5 أبريل الماضي، عن مواجهة الأهلي لفريق الرجاء المغربي.

وتقام مواجهة الذهاب بين الأهلي والرجاء، في القاهرة، غداً السبت على استاد الأهلي وي السلام، وتلعب مباراة الإياب في المغرب يوم الجمعة 22 إبريل الجاري.

ووفقاً لموقع le 360 المغربي: “الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم، قرر معاقبة فريق الرجاء الرياضي، وذلك قبل مواجهة الأهلي، السبت المقبل، برسم ذهاب ربع نهائي دوري إبطال افريقيا”.

وأوضح: “كاف قرر تغريم النادي الأخضر 8000 دولار بسبب إلقاء الجماهير للشهب الاصطناعية (الشماريخ) على أرضية الملعب”.

وأتم: “العقوبة المذكورة قد تتضاعف وتصل إلى حرمان الفريق المغربي من الجماهير، في حال تسجيل حالة شغب أو إلقاء شماريخ مرة أخرى في المباريات القادمة للنادي الأخضر في المباريات الإفريقية”.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts believes that Mauricio Pochettino did well to manoeuvre himself so he earned a new contract from PSG amid interest from the north London club.

Spurs opened talks with the Argentine over a potentially sensational return to the club, just 18 months after sacking him and replacing him with Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho was sacked by Spurs in April and the club have been searching for a new boss ever since.

PSG showed no signs of allowing Pochettino to leave and they actually triggered a clause in his contract, tying him to the club for another year.

Roberts thinks that may well have been the plan for Pochettino all along, and he was impressed with the tactics shown by the former Spurs and Southampton boss.

Speaking exclusively to The Transfer Tavern, Roberts said: “I think Pochettino was very clever with what he did, getting another year extension on his contract in Paris. In them big clubs, if you don’t win the Champions League or win the league that you’re in, you usually get sacked after a year or 18 months.

“So he’s got another two years now, they’d have to pay him if he leaves there so he’s done very, very well to get that one. I suppose I am saying that it worked in his favour.”

Tottenham’s search for a new manager has turned into a right mess. After coming close to appointing Paulo Fonseca and then Gennaro Gattuso, the north London club have ended up with neither.

Gerente desde 2015, após a saída de André Zanotta, atualmente no Sport, Dimas começou no Alvinegro durante a gestão de Odílio Rodrigues, o que não era de agrado de todos os apoiadores da atual gestão. A demissão, na sexta-feira, só aconteceu após aprovação do Comitê de Gestão.

Dimas era querido pelos jogadores do Santos, que promoveram uma reunião logo após o treino de sexta-feira. Um dos fatores que causou revolta no grupo foi a possibilidade da política ter influenciado na decisão, já que em dezembro haverá nova eleição presidencial.

Além disso, o Peixe já procura outro profissional para a função e busca um nome conhecido no mercado.

Outro assunto da reunião entre diretoria e elenco será o atraso na volta do intervalo durante as partidas. Na súmula do jogo com o Red Bull, o árbitro Rafael Gomes Félix da Silva relatou atraso no início do primeiro tempo e também do segundo, o que é passível de multa para o clube. Segundo dirigentes, isso foi recorrente no ano passado e deve ser evitado em 2017.

Armstrong Oko-Flex has left Celtic and sealed a move to Premier League side West Ham, leading a number of Hoops fans to react to the deal on social media.

The versatile forward made the move to Parkhead back in 2018, with the Hoops delighted at securing his services from Arsenal.

However, things didn’t go to plan for Oko-Flex in Glasgow. He made just two senior appearances for Celtic, both of which came after the Hoops had to rely on a number of their academy players to fulfil Scottish Premiership fixtures following Christopher Jullien’s positive result back in January.

Oko-Flex featured as a substitute in the draws against Hibernian and Livingston but has now departed after his contract in Glasgow expired.

Fulham look set to complete a deal that would see Steve Cooper take over at Craven Cottage this summer.

What’s the talk?

That’s according to a claim made by South London Press journalist Richard Cawley, who revealed in a post on Twitter that it sounds “extremely likely” that the 41-year-old Swansea City manager will become Scott Parker’s successor at the west London side in the coming days.

Sky Sports reported on Sunday that the incumbent Fulham boss looks set to leave the club in the next 48 hours, with the Cottagers now appearing to have beaten Crystal Palace to the signing of Cooper.

Fans should be buzzing

While losing a manager with experience of achieving an immediate return to the Premier League in Scott Parker is something of a blow for Fulham, should Shahid Khan go on to land Cooper as the 40-year-old’s replacement, it should give fans of the Cottagers plenty of reason to be buzzing.

Not only has the Swansea boss guided a largely unfancied side to consecutive top-six finishes in the Championship, something that would appear to bode extremely well if he were to take over a Fulham squad that boasts a great deal of Premier League experience, Cooper has also earned a reputation for placing an emphasis on the development of youth players.

Indeed, the Swans’ squad was the sixth youngest in the second tier of English football last season, while the England U17 World Cup winner’s reputation has also led to Premier League sides offering their youth prospects to Swansea before making them available to the wider loan market.

As such, with the 41-year-old appearing to be a manager who can overachieve in terms of a club’s performance in the league, as well as one who is extremely adept in developing young players – who can either go on to star in the first team or be sold for considerable transfer fees – the Welshman could well be something of a perfect fit for Fulham, and may even be considered as a step up from Parker by some of the Cottagers fan base.
