Não faltaram novidades na lista de convocados de Tite para os amistosos da Seleção Brasileira nos dias 10 e 13 de outubro, contra Senegal e Nigéria, respectivamente. Em evento realizado na manhã desta sexta-feira, na sede da CBF, o comandante “quebrou o protocolo” ao convocar mais de um jogador de clubes brasileiros como o Flamengo e Grêmio.

Do lado do Rubro-Negro, o treinador promoveu os retornos de Rodrigo Caio e Gabigol. Já no Tricolor gaúcho, foram chamados Matheus Henrique e Everton “Cebolinha”.

– É desafiador ter bom senso, atingir a todos e olhar os diferentes lados, e fazer todos ganharem. Neste momento, estão clubes e atletas. Eu permito ao presidente Landim e ao Bolzan. Eles me conhecem muito bem, sabem os cuidados que tenho. Dito isto, este ganha-ganha não dá. Eu vi o Gabriel Barbosa dizer o orgulho de dar oportunidade a atletas que vêm merecendo.

César Sampaio foi mantido como auxiliar pontual da Seleção. O chefe de delegação dos amistosos, que serão realizados em Singapura, será Bebeto, tetracampeão do mundo em 1994.

أوكلاند سيتي خسر من اتحاد جدة بثلاثة أهداف دون رد، في مباراة الدور الأول التمهيدي في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية، خلال المواجهة التي جمعتهما اليوم الثلاثاء.

وقال رييرا خلال تصريحات في المؤتمر الصحفي بعد المباراة: “لدينا تجارب كثيرة في كأس العالم للأندية، نحن نأتي من نيوزلاندا وكرة القدم ليست اللعبة الأولى، لدينا لعبة الراكبي في المرتبة الأولى”.

وأتم: “لقد كانت مباراة جميلة سواء الفوز أو الخسارة لكن علينا احترام لاعبينا”.

وتأهل فريق الاتحاد السعودي إلى دور ربع النهائي من بطولة كأس العالم للأندية 2023، لمواجهة الأهلي يوم الجمعة المقبل 15 ديسمبر.

Kevin Pietersen marked his much trumpeted return to cricket in England by turning on the Oxford students like a man on a mission as he scored his first hundred in any form of the game since the Old Trafford Ashes Test in August 2013.The largest crowd at the Parks for years were there to watch, perhaps even to flesh out dissertations on controversial figures of English sporting history.He was in blistering form against Oxford MCCU in The Parks, hitting 170 from 149 balls, with 24 fours and two sixes, one of which dented a car parked beside the pavilion, not thought to belong to the CB or a particularly critical adversary in the media.At least one faraway observer suggested on Twitter that this somehow proved that England would have won the World Cup if they had not dropped him, a conclusion that might not have stood up to critical scrutiny.A somewhat tougher test will come when he returns to Championship action against Glamorgan in Cardiff a week hence.Pietersen said: “I’m batting as well as I’ve ever batted in my career. It’s just a case of hopefully continuing that. No-one’s guaranteed runs, but if I play the way I played today, in the same manner, then I think that I probably will score some.”Pietersen has played exclusively Twenty20 cricket in various leagues around the world since being axed by England following the humiliating Ashes whitewash defeat last year.His last first-class match was in January 2014, when Australia sealed a 5-0 thrashing of England in Sydney, and his most recent appearance for Surrey before Sunday was in the LV= County Championship in June 2013.He has given up a deal with Indian Premier League side Sunrisers Hyderabad – not his favourite Indian city – in order to come back to Surrey as he bids to add to his 104 Test caps with England. It’s always nice to get three figures, but it’s the way I started my innings that I’m proud of.”Once I got in on that wicket, it definitely became a lot easier, but it was really tough at the start. That’s what I’m really proud of. My first 40, 50 runs, the way I ground it out, didn’t give any chances and I played in a pretty mature fashion in terms of the situation.”Pietersen was ably supported by Gary Wilson, who finished unbeaten on 119. Surrey put their hosts in for an hour, with the students from Oxford and Oxford Brookes Universities reaching 28 for 4 before bad light stopped play with them 392 runs behind.Chris Tremlett, another England Test player, took three wickets for three runs. Calls for his recall are so far less vociferous.

Some of the best cricketers of their time have played at Trafalgar Road. Viv Richards, Clive Lloyd and Wasim Akram are merely three of them. Now Hashim Amla has joined an august company. Yet when South Africa’s Test captain comes to reflect on his career, it is unlikely that either an appearance on this ground or a three-hour innings of 69 will feature among his most treasured recollections.Folk round here will remember it, though. They still talk about famous matches and performances at outground venues; they know that such memories will keep them warm when various types of winter arrive.Amla’s innings may also have more material consequence for Derbyshire’s fortunes in this game. By the time a good length ball from Kyle Jarvis nipped back a shade and beat his attempted drive, the willowy right-hander had guided his team watchfully from 155 for 2 to 301 for 7. He had done this not with a fusillade of boundaries but with an understated watchfulness, as if determined to demonstrate that his two-match deal to play for Derbyshire was a wise piece of business.Of course, while Amla has nothing at all to prove to the cricket world at large, the good citizens of places like Sandiacre or Ilkeston may still need convincing that such a short-term arrangement is wise. He had, after all, made only 21 runs in two visits against Northamptonshire. Well Amla certainly earned his corn on Sunday and his efforts helped take Billy Godleman’s side to a rather prosperous 335 for 9 at close of play.Given that they had been 238 for 2 just before tea, this might not seem like unbounded riches but this Southport pitch is renowned as one that takes spin. Indeed, the ball was soon turning slowly for Lancashire offspinner Arron Lilley, who bowled 11 overs from the Grosvenor Road End before lunch. Both sides have selected a couple of slower bowlers and nothing has yet happened to suggest that was foolishness.But what was less commendable was the overall standard of Lancashire’s seam attack in the morning session. When Godleman marked his first match as Derbyshire skipper by winning the toss and opting to bat, he was probably thinking of the game’s fourth afternoon rather than the opportunity to gallop along at nearly four an over in the first morning.Yet that was exactly what he and Ben Slater achieved as they took advantage of Jarvis and Tom Bailey’s wayward length and direction to score 129 without loss on a chastening morning for both Steven Croft’s seamers and a crowd which grew rapidly as brightness replaced early rain.Both openers batted very well in what were still testing conditions. Slater, who had scored 296 championship runs before this match, added 69 more before he edged Bailey to Paul Horton at slip when trying to remove his bat from the ball. Three overs later Godleman’s polished innings of 79 ended when he steered Jarvis straight to Karl Brown in the gully.By now the bars and hospitality areas were filling up nicely and most of the spectators responded warmly to Lancashire’s improved fortunes. Although Amla and Chesney Hughes put on 83 for the third wicket to take their side to a more than promising position, batting was never as simple a matter as it had been made to seem when Godleman and Slater had been making hay.And once Hughes had nicked Bailey to Alex Davies when he had made 37, the initiative in the day shifted to Lancashire’s bowlers. In the fifth over after tea, Simon Kerrigan had Scott Elstone and Shiv Thakor leg before with successive deliveries. Neither batsman could have any complaints. Elstone was beaten on the back foot and Thakor was caught in headlights by a delivery of full length.Further riches followed with the new ball and by now the corporate guests were in fine, if rather incoherent, voice. Harvey Hosein spooned Jarvis to Jordan Clark at cover point and David Wainwright was beaten by Bailey’s pace. Then Amla made perhaps his second error in 126 balls and Jarvis knocked back his off stump. A day that had begun with Bailey and Jarvis being driven and cut for a lucky bag of boundaries ended with both bowlers collected three wickets.Clark accounted for Tom Taylor in the last over of the day and most of the spectators drifted loudly home. For their part, the worthy officials of Southport and Birkdale Cricket Club took a deep breath or two. They have been preparing for this match since December in these parts and they are determined to bust a gut to get things as right as they can. It isn’t always easy but batsmen like Amla make the labour worthwhile.

أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم “فيفا” اليوم الخميس، التصنيف الشهري للمنتخبات عن (ديسمبر)، وذلك في ختام عام 2023، وقبل أيام من انطلاق بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا المقبلة في كوت ديفوار.

وافتتح منتخب مصر مشواره في تصفيات كأس العالم 2026 خلال شهر نوفمبر الماضي بالفوز أمام جيبوتي بسداسية نظيفة، تابعها الفوز على سيراليون في الجولة الثانية بنتيجة 2-0.

ويتواجد منتخب مصر في المجموعة الأولى من تصفيات كأس العالم 2026، رفقة منتخبات بوركينا فاسو وغينيا بيساو وسيراليون وإثيوبيا.

وسيبدأ منتخب مصر استعداداته للمشاركة في بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا خلال شهر يناير المقبل، والتي ستقام في كوت ديفوار.

وجاء الفراعنة في المرتبة الخامسة بتنصيف الاتحاد الدولي عن قارة إفريقيا، والـ33 عالميًا، خلف المغرب والسنغال وتونس والجزائر على الترتيب، وهو نفس ترتيب مصر عن شهر نوفمبر الماضي.

UAE resumed play at an over night score of 251 for 9 and managed to add just two runs before Mohammed Naveed was dismissed by Craig Young, who ended with match figures of 1 for 110.Ed Joyce was adjudged the player of the match for his 232-ball 231, Ireland’s highest individual first class score.Ireland collect the 20 maximum points available to join Namibia at the top of the table. Ireland will face Namibia in the next round of the competition later in the year.

Responsável pelo Memorial do Corinthians, Fernando Wanner descobriu um escudo utilizado pelo clube do Parque São Jorge que até então era desconhecido da Fiel Torcida. Durante uma pesquisa no acervo online da Biblioteca Nacional, o historiador encontrou imagens de amistosos realizados em 1916 com as letras ‘C’ e ‘P’ costuradas no lado esquerdo do peito.

Com a descoberta (veja abaixo a imagem), o Corinthians passa a ter nove diferentes versões de escudo ao longo de sua centenária história. O novo símbolo é o terceiro na linha temporada. De acordo com Wanner, o desenho foi criado pelo litógrafo Hermógenes Barbuy, irmão do ídolo AmilcarBarbuy. Os jogadores do Timão o vestiram em aproximadamente seis amistosos que antecederam a Liga Paulista de Football daquela temporada.

-Esse distintivo sempre esteve em nossa história, o que eu fiz foi apenas redescobri-lo e trazer ele para torcedor é uma grande honra para mim – festejou o historiador Fernando Wanner, que descobriu o escudo durante uma pesquisa para encontrar imagens do Corinthians jogando no estádio da Ponte Grande, a primeira casa do clube.
